Lanvin 2014 Sunglass Collection
Alber Elbaz’s artistic direction may be detected in every detail, with art deco elements embellishing every frame. Lavin harmoniously combines a retro feel with a modern industrial approach, whilst also opening to distant exotic cultures.
In this Sunglass collection, the must-have summer accessory is reinterpreted with insouciance. The volumes and geometries reveal a Baroque touch, with mechanical elements that stand out with sobriety and elegance. Furthermore, recurrent references to nature in warm desert dune hues act as an invitation to a refined retro journey. These three universes coexist through an unusual mix of materials and finishes, playing on contrasts and making each model unique in its purest essence.
ART DECO JEWELS
One of the flagship models of the latest Lanvin eyewear collection reveals a distinctly Baroque soul. A vintage and sophisticated allure is interpreted with precious trims and inserts with a matt finish and with unique materials in a sober and sophisticated range of colours. Art deco is also subtly referenced, in the geometric curves of the frames.

A veritable icon of Lanvin style, this new object of desire is marked by acetate inspired by the Maison’s traditional tweed. The geometric pattern is picked up by gold and silver colored metal inserts, and creates a sparkling and multifaceted labyrinth effect on the front piece. The wood-like temples flaunt a precious art deco jewel, enriched by small burnished crystals and a luminous pearl.
CHARME ETHNIQUE
Wood, horn and mother-of-pearl, together with industrial metal details, embellish the frames, designed for the multifaceted globetrotter who loves to explore exotic places and ethnic cultures.

A poetic mix of soft shades and translucent effects mark this oversized model, creating an unusual contrast between the metal elements of the temples and a horn-effect matt finish. The lenses provide a touch of shine with a slight mirror effect, for a glamorous allure.

The flagship model of the men’s collection is marked by the emblematic and vintage curves of the front piece. An antique finish and snake-effect leather inserts on the temples provide an original interpretation of the classic aviator model.
INDUSTRIAL MIX
Alongside the most refined and feminine models, Lanvin presents a number of contemporary pieces with a distinct industrial touch. Essentially unisex and minimally chic, these models reflect modernity and a forward-thinking approach, through the use of industrial elements with metal-effect finishes.

An exclusive Lanvin revisitation of the iconic round frame of yesteryear. The silver-mirrored front piece is made of special acetate obtained from real silver powder. This fascinating full metal model comes with tubular temples echoing the knurled effect of an industrial screw as far as the tips, for an elegant retro look.

This new model with bold temples reveals a daring balance of proportions and thicknesses, treading the line between classicism and modernity. The aged metal hinge and the small screw on the temples embody Lanvin’s faultless combination of aesthetics and functionality.
