RE-WILD WELLNESS: Nutrition Experts Share Tips on Eating Habits to Improve Health and Behaviour
Good food can serve as a medicine, improving the body, mind, and soul. In addition, when it comes to families, good eating habits can have a significant impact on behaviour, ultimately improving the quality of life for everyone involved. Recognizing the importance of nutrition in overall well-being, the RE-WILD WELLNESS event, taking place at the Premier Hotel Cutty Sark in Scottburgh on the KZN Coast on Thursday, 29 February from 5pm, aims to empower attendees by unpacking some of the key nutritional insights they need. Of course, by providing this knowledge, the event hopes to equip attendees with the tools they need to make positive changes in their lives and achieve their wellness goals.
Danni Venter, Nutritionist and Dietician; Rachelle Walker, Chef and Caterer; and Shez Rossouw, Wellness Coach will be addressing audiences on nutrition, wellness, and the positive impact it can bring to everyday life. These nutrition experts will share simple tricks for creating nutritious options easily, as well as small changes in the kitchen that can benefit a family’s health and well-being.
RE-WILD WELLNESS – Improve your knowledge and wellbeing
“We’re encouraging anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of nutrition and wellbeing to attend the RE-WILD WELLNESS event,” said Rachelle Walker. “This is an important chance to learn about how good food and nutrition can positively benefit because good food heals.”
“More specifically, I will be speaking on the connection between nutrition and how it impacts behaviour and EQ which ultimately impacts the dynamic of the family. Simple, everyday activities like sharing a healthy homemade meal together can create a space of invited sharing which can be such a connecting experience for the family.”
Shez Rossouw
“We look at how to get kids back to eating real food. A lot of kids get diagnosed with ADHD when it could be excessive sugar consumption. This is just getting a grip on how we should be feeding our kids.”
Danni Venter
The team will share ideas, tips, and hacks for preparing healthy meals, snacks, and lunch boxes for the entire family. There will also be fantastic meal preparation demonstrations and hands-on snack-making so that participants leave empowered to make nutritious food.
Nutrition Tips from the Experts
Sunshine, water, rest, air, exercise, and a healthy diet make up the 6 best doctors. If you are deficient in even one vitamin, it can lead to various illnesses. While a healthy diet doesn’t require fancy or complicated meals, it does, however, require good food made from fresh ingredients. Nutrition isn’t about low fat, low calories, or deprivation. Instead, you should nourish your body with real whole foods, which will keep you consistently satisfied and energized. Don’t eat to control your weight or body size, but eat for nourishment and well-being!
