565 Broome SoHo x Poltrona Frau
Bizzi & Partners Development, Halpern Real Estate Ventures, and Aronov Development recently revealed a new full-floor model residence, N28A, at 565 Broome SoHo, featuring furniture from world-renowned Italian furniture brand, Poltrona Frau.
Renowned for its iconic designs and uncompromising commitment to quality and leather craftsmanship, the Poltrona Frau‘s Interiors in Motion and Contract businesses have led to collaborations with major airlines, luxury car manufacturers, yachts, five-star hotels, museums, and partnerships with over 200 architects and designers.
Incredibly, the expansive residence features 31 notable artworks by ten contemporary artists. These artworks cover a variety of media, including paintings, photography, watercolours, sculptures, and weaving. Represented by Denny Dimin Gallery in Tribeca, New York City, the artists live throughout the United States.
Artwork and furnishings were curated by Denny Dimin Gallery and Rachel Doherty in collaboration with RDAI.
565 Broome SoHo
565 Broome SoHo is the first residential building in New York City designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano. In fact, Time magazine named Piano as one of the top 100 most influential people in the world.
At 30 stories, this is the tallest residential property in SoHo. The building features 112 residences with interiors by Paris-based design firm RDAI. They are known for their elegant interiors and work on flagship Hermès stores, as well as major hotels worldwide.
565 Broome SoHo has been constructed with the environment in mind. As a matter of fact, it may very well be the first luxury residential Zero Waste Building in New York City. Only buildings that achieve over 90% diversion of waste from landfills, incinerators and the environment make this grade.
“565 Broome SoHo, now fully complete with immediate occupancy, redefines luxury living in Manhattan through its meticulous attention to detail and European craftsmanship with the collaboration between Renzo Piano and RDAI.” said Davide Bizzi, Chief Executive Officer of Bizzi & Partners Development.
Residence N28A
Residence N28A is a full-floor home totalling 4,682 square feet and features 4 bedrooms, and 5 and a half bathrooms. It is the only full-floor model residence in the North Tower at 565 Broome SoHo and offers panoramic views of the Hudson River, Lower Manhattan and Midtown skyline.
“Inspired by Renzo’s original design, we aimed to create a contemporary home that felt connected to the stunning metropolis below but sheltered – an exceptional urban oasis. We achieved this through a careful curation of handcrafted furnishings all characterized by unparalleled comfort and a visual lightness, so as not to detract from the views. Paired beautifully with custom works of art from local artisans, our furnishings create a cohesive design story that communicates an effortless elegance fitting for such an open and breathtaking layout,” said Nicola Coropulis, CEO of Poltrona Frau.
Entrance
Residence N28A features direct elevator entry with a gracious entry foyer that leads into the expansive 40-foot long great room. The floor-to-ceiling curved glass windows allow for extraordinary natural light and breathtaking views. Notably, views of the Hudson River to the West and the Empire State and Chrysler buildings to the North.
Dining Area
The dining area is highlighted by an Albero Limited Edition Bookcase by Gianfranco Frattini. This is indeed a sculptural masterpiece, and a centerpiece to the room, with intricate cabinetry that runs from floor to ceiling. A Bolero Ravel Dining table with Isadora dining chairs sits below the Xi Suspension Lamp.
Living Room
The living room seating arrangements include:
- The Let it Be Sofa by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba,
- Archibald Armchairs by Jean-Marie Massaud fashioned with a grey leather upholstery,
- Ceccotti D.R.D.P Sofa by Roberto Lazzeroni.
Two expressive artworks by Andy Woll hang in the living room, as well as two Amanda Valdez embroidered artworks and a Matt Mignanelli grid painting.
Home Office / Study
Furthermore, a home office/study adjacent to the living room boasts unobstructed views to the north of the Midtown skyline. This space certainly showcases a contemporary colorful piece by Emily Noelle Lambert, a Jean-Marie Massuad Jay lounge armchair, and a lamp from the Fidelio collection by Roberto Lazzeroni.
Kitchen
The beautiful custom-designed kitchen is outfitted in Molteni back-painted glass cabinetry, white Macaubas marble, Zucchetti fixtures and accessories, Blanco sinks, and a full suite of Miele appliances that includes a wine refrigerator and dishwasher. The extraordinarily light-filled kitchen also boasts stunning views of the Hudson River to the west and Lower Manhattan to the south.
Gallery
Interestingly, a formal gallery connects the public and private wings of the residence. This natural showcase for artwork features three paintings by Amanda Valdez as well as a John Dante Bianchi sculpture.
Bedrooms
Three bright, well-sized secondary bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and large closets with floor-to-ceiling windows that also feature Midtown and River views.
The serene master suite is located on the eastern wing of the residence, boasting East, North and South exposures. It thus overlooks historic SoHo and the Midtown Manhattan skyline. The bedroom features the Times Bed by Poltrona Frau with a custom headboard. Additional furniture includes a Fidelio Notte chest of drawers and Renzo Frau’s classic Club armchair, with a retro 1940s design.
The master suite is also highlighted by an oversized walk-in closet and dual, windowed master bathrooms. The bathrooms both have MUSE by Kos deep-soaking tubs, separate showers and private water closets.
Amenities
Of course residents also have access to expansive amenity offerings. These span over 17,000 square feet and provide a private, tranquil escape in SoHo.
Firstly, the private gated driveway provides entrance to a covered porte-cochere and the latest in automated parking technology.
Secondly, wellness amenities include a heated, 55-foot indoor swimming pool, with changing rooms; steam rooms and sauna; and an expansive top-of-the-line fitness center with yoga studio.
Thirdly, residents enjoy a beautifully landscaped outdoor terrace and a 92-foot tall conservatory with three 30-foot tall, black olive trees, surrounded by two curated libraries with a dining table and catering kitchen.
Finally, additional amenities include a children’s playroom and a grand, double-height lobby.
In conclusion, 565 Broome SoHo is available for immediate occupancy and construction is complete. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is exclusively handling the sales for the building. Residence N28A is priced at $16,950,000.
