OKHA’s New Proxima Range Table

OKHA’s new Proxima range

With the new OKHA Proxima range, OKHA Creative Director, Adam Court, explores the recurrent theme of chaos and order. Certainly, the conundrum of co-existing order and disorder in our natural and metaphysical worlds intrigues him.

The Proxima table is a constellation of elements. The tabletop comprises fractals of shifting forms that appear simultaneously random and in order; entities in a state of perpetual flux and in orbit.

OKHA Proxima encapsulates the idea that the foundations of our universes are built on the concept of Yin & Yang. Opposites co-exist with one element unable to exist without the other. Without noise, there is no silence, without dark no light… To be sure, the unity of these dialectic opposites results in our mystically functioning cosmos.

PROXIMA (noun): The nearest star to the sun; distance: 4.3 light-years.
PROXIMA: Denoting natural objects (not man-made) in closeness.
