Arceau Hermès Locomotion: A Masterpiece of Movement and Imagination

Hermès has once again exemplified its mastery of horology and artistry with the unveiling of the Arceau Hermès Locomotion — a jewellery piece that, moreover, transcends traditional watchmaking to become a true work of art. Furthermore, this limited-edition creation, framed delicately by a diamond-set bezel, captures the vibrant, dynamic spirit of the Hermès boutique on Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Additionally, it was conceived by French designer Ugo Bienvenu for the iconic Hermès Locomotion scarf.

The vivid paintings of Arceau Hermès in motion

The watch’s centrepiece is its curved dial, a mesmerising tableau painted with vivid, layered strokes of pink, yellow, blue, and green. This colourful composition creates an illusion of depth and movement, as if the dial itself is alive with energy. Enhancing this visual feast is miniature artwork, meticulously hand-painted beneath the sapphire crystal, crafting a three-dimensional diorama that invites the wearer to explore every detail with fascination.

Exquisite craftsmanship in a sleek form

The 38-millimetre white gold case houses the Arceau Hermès Locomotion, which features the Manufacture H1912 self-winding movement—demonstrating Hermès’ dedication to precision and craftsmanship. Paired with a soft mauve alligator strap, the piece exudes sophistication and elevates Hermès’ playful yet refined aesthetic.

A limited-edition masterpiece

At once whimsical and exacting, this exceptional timepiece embodies the poetic union of craftsmanship and imagination, reflecting the Maison’s enduring spirit of creative innovation. Limited to just twelve pieces, the Arceau Hermès Locomotion is not merely a watch — it is a celebration of motion, artistry, and the eternal allure of Hermès.
