The Coach Swinger Bag looks good on you
An archival Coach style, the Swinger bag nods to the mini-bag moment of the first decade of the century. And now it is swinging right back into fashion!
Reintroduced in glove-tanned leather and featuring the house’s iconic signature, it reflects Creative Director Stuart Vevers’ vision of heritage reimagined for now.
The Coach Originals
The Swinger Bag is part of The Coach Originals Collection. This collection of archival-inspired bags celebrates the brand’s legacy and authentic New York heritage. This streamlined buttery soft glove-tanned leather style is based on a 1980s Coach design reimagined for today.
Featuring their iconic turnlock closure, the zip-top short-strap shoulder bag sits just beneath the underarm for hands-free convenience.
The bag is iconic in its shape. The small pochette style was first released in the 1980s and then updated over the years.
It includes a detachable strap to wear crossbody, making this the perfect day-to-night bag that is also a smart option for when you travel.
The baguette silhouette is very on-trend this year.
The range of plain leather colours include:
- Forest green
- deep red Wine
- Chalk white
- Black
- Maple
The Signature Jacquard is available in either Burgundy Black Cherry or Oak Maple.
Coach has also introduced a nylon variant in black with black pebble leather trim. It is versatile, hard-working, lightweight, durable and easy to clean.
Coach says the glove-tanned leather should be worn out to be worn in – the patina gets better with age and makes each bag unique to its wearer. The people at Coach believe that better-made things create a better future for all, because keeping and wearing what you buy for longer (even a few months) decreases the impact it has on the planet.
Today, they stand behind the promise that their stuff is made to look good, wear beautifully, and to last for a (very) long time. This is good news not only for you but for the planet, too. So, wear it, love it, pass it on.
Some styles are just too good to leave in the archives.
