Furthermore, today DJ Khaled strengthens the long-standing bond with Dolce & Gabbana. He is teaming up with the brand in the creation of an exclusive Special Collection. It is an artistic partnership with a perfect balance between creativity, brilliance and pure contemporary style.

The Collection’s design

The Downtown District’s historic charm lies within the palms, the flowers and the bright colours of this cosmopolitan city. Also, it reflects the sunny seashores of South Beach.

The distinctive features of the metropolis mix into the designs in a surprising way. With the codes that have made the DNA of Dolce & Gabbana unique over time, it gives life to an exclusive Collection.

In essence, the artistic genius of Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana and DJ Khaled combine with contemporary flair.

Creative concepts

Two creative concepts with a strong and distinctive character animate the Collection. The first concept, the depiction of a lion, a symbol of strength and pride that has always been dear to DJ Khaled – who also chose it for the cover of one of his most acclaimed albums – framed by florals and fantasies of stripes and polka dots.

The proposal brings to mind the Wynwood neighbourhood. Also, the artistic heart of Miami with murals and graffiti interwoven with the typical Mediterranean bougainvillaea flowers. Let’s not forget the agave leaves, recalling Florida’s gardens as well as the landscapes of Southern Italy.

The Special Collection, which includes ready-to-wear and beachwear, available up to Italian size 60, and accessories, will be available starting from March 15th 2021, at select Dolce & Gabbana boutiques as well as online at www.dolcegabbana.com.
