World premiere of the Audi e-tron GT – 9 Feb 2021

The world premiere of the Audi e-tron GT will take place with two digital events on Tuesday, 9 February 2021. Sustainability, emotional design, and high performance: the new Audi e-tron GT combines these qualities in a re-interpretation of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’.

Day of Progress

Audi will make a virtual presentation of the new Audi e-tron GT as part of the “Day of Progress” launch programme. Online streaming begins at 14h00 (CAT) at the Neuburg an der Donau site. Firstly, in the launch programme titled “Sprint of Progress,” the model will demonstrate all of the high performance characteristics of modern electromobility. Finally, the world premiere of the Audi e-tron GT will then take place as part of the hour-long programme titled, “Celebration of Progress” later at 20h00 (CAT).

The Audi e-tron GT is Audi’s electrified masterpiece. As a gran turismo with four seats and two luggage compartments, it combines comfort and driving dynamics in one iconic design. The fully electric Gran Turismo continues Audi’s electrification offensive and Audi fans around the world will keenly follow the launch.

Audi poured heart and soul into this creation. This is especially true for its progressive electronic sound. Developed in the sound lab and later tested in customer studies, the sound is a study in musical creativity. With the optional e-tron sound, an additional loudspeaker in the rear of the vehicle as well as two interior loudspeakers create the sophisticated backdrop of e-sound.

The vehicle’s unveiling on 9 Feb will give fans the opportunity to admire every detail.

Markus Duesmann, CEO of AUDI AG, and Hildegard Wortmann, Board Member for Sales and Marketing, along with further prominent guests like designer Stella McCartney, will present the highlights of the new model.

Both events will be streamed. With this new model AUDI AG presses further ahead with its transformation into a provider of sustainable premium mobility. Interestingly, Audi also refers to the e-tron GT as the electric spearhead of the Four Rings.
